Lovely rare two pound marmalade pot by James Keiller. Produced at the Maling
Newcastle pottery house around the turn of the century. Condition is as found by
excavators and overall in good condition with some crazing, hairline cracks, possible chips and maybe rust effects from burial.
Most all buried pieces have these these elements, but have yet somehow survived nearly a century.
