fond memories came flooding in today
as I walked the gardens

memories of the
nine years, all the posts,
 the friends
and the umpteen times I wanted to quit!
blah blah blah …
of all the perks and pleasures I believe
the friends part stands out among all the rest!

you know who you are …
blogs come and they go to they change so much
one can hardly recognize them as blogs …

connections connections connections
six degrees of separation
and all that jazz … yeah its true.

Fifi O'Neill discovered our home through
a scout Kim from Daisy Cottage … who sent
a disc of pictures to Fifi …
(the disc sat on Fifi's desk for a year)
after introductions and a myriad of emails back and forth
 just over four years ago
Fifi and crew did a photo shoot here

of course it went zooming to the top of the charts
and the rest is history
if you don't have this book … you will want it
Timeless and comforting … I still see something new
every time I pick it up

here's to nine more years of blogging
and a well read book!

Here's to way more then 9 more years?
Joy, I have her Romantic Prairie Style book and of course bought a couple for gifts. I noticed right off you were in the book, one of my favorites along with the creative daughter you have who also has a beautiful French style. Funny to see ones who started out with a child or two and now have 1-2 and 3 more :) like your sweet beautiful daughter :) time gets by does it not and the beauty of it keeps growing.

I can't believe that it has been very close shy a few months from 5 years now for me blogging and looking back for me is so amazing at the friends and strength we all have been able to pull from it.

Joy I can tell you this much, blogging without seeing you in the mix would feel like something is missing!
Keep inspiring us with all you do and create.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my place, you visits always add grace and beauty to my day.

And for me, it's been six years, and in that first year, YOU were one of the first people who left a comment on my blog. We even spoke on the phone, via your invitation to chat, and I bought some little golden shoes from you!

So nice to visit you today! Anita

Joy, your style and home in Romantic Prairie Style were my first intro to you. I'm so glad I've gotten to know you better. You truly are what your blog name says - a savvy city farmer gal. Congrats on staying the course!
