PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE ...
OR CLOSE!
so I'm styling away at my weekly retail venue
(last week) ...
lo and behold these adorable
doves were unearthed from the tubs of
new old merchandise ...
being the picky-une farm girl that I am,
it takes alot to wow
my heart ...
but me-oh-my
be still my picky-une heart ...
vintage painted cardboard dove decoys ...
never been out of "their box"
clothespin clips and all
with pretty much free reign
in the styling department
at this venue,
I can get carried away
at times ...
and tend to find some pretty edgy, corny
ways to display vintage items.
I clipped them on to this vintage bird cage
and I melted in to a
dove puddle!
... need I say more?

I'd never even heard of dove decoys, now I NEED one! So beautifully displayed on that gorgeous vintage birdcage. I love it!
