DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

I guess one could say that this entire summer
has been made up of dog days!
Hotter that blazes ...
dry, parched crispy lawns
... yea, nary even the sound of a lawn mower.

What was once my worbench, (the shed)
sat pretty much idle
 these past dog days.
Just too darn hot to paint out there.

with that said ... I've been holed up in the cellar ...
uh hum, and not the wine cellar!

The workbench at the bottom of basement steps
has had to suffice.
It's cool down there and the creative juices
have been a'flowin!
With the request from
Romancing the Home
and their staff
 for a private sale,
I've had to keep myself on my toes!

Here is a smattering of what's lurking in the Shed for
my first ever private shed soiree.

fabulous OLD apothecary ... missing their labels...
what's a girl to do, but maker her own.
thank you graphics fairy!!

a little of this and a little of that!

 ... I'm rambling now
and long overdue for a siesta!

Will you please stay tuned  ... On August 7th,
I'm having the giveaway of all giveaways!
Celebrating 7 years of blogging and close
'to the million mark of visitors.

have a great weekend!

I'm gonna bring a mock-up of reception table # signs, needless to say, it needs a scf touch.

And heaven knows we need that chandelier to either not sell or a gracious buyer to let us deliver on 9.23!

Everything is loverly.

Oh thank goodness you weren't in a wine cellar. I was worried I was going to have to add that to my projects after a coffee porch!

Hi, I'm on my iPhone and it won't let me like you on fb. I found you on my twitter. For some reason it won't let me follow you but I will do all of those thongs when I get back from the beach. I love all your pictures that I've seen so far. I won't be able to enter your contest but I can't wait to follow your blog. My daughter and I just started a blog. And we're loving it.
