SNAP DRAGONS ...

meandering thru Friday ...

it's really starting to feel like spring in the midwest ...
truth be told, I'm having dreams about
snap dragons ... my gramma's favorite flower
(more on that later, and
 how to grow these forgotten
beauties)

I should be at the workbench
BUT my load for
Romancing the Home is
ALMOST FINISHED
yeah ... you should see the living room, it looks like a store!
and no, sorry I can't show you ...
Susan, the store owner is 'sheeting' up her front
windows and plans to to a "reveal"
Friday morning, March 9 at 10:00
Can you stand it?

this is the typical flavor of my booth
when I do a show

garden, industrial, romantic farm antiques, painted furniture,

french, rustic, and a mish mash of out of the box wonderful junk!

Next week at the trunk show, I'll be adding fresh greens, as always ...

I'm convinced they add a certain
"come on in" to the already fabulous flavor of a trunk show or
 an outdoor market venue ...

oh and btw ... I had three of these trophy planters
for sale at stuff in the burbs ... sold them all!

what do you think?
is a re-order in order??

have a beautiful weekend
linking with
vintage inspiration Friday

You're show is going to be beautiful! I will be so PROUD to be promoting the magazine at the same event - people are going to be amazed at what you have been creating!
I too am dreaming of snaps!

The Daughter.

I especially love the cow print in the ornate gold frame. Elagant with rustic is my favorite style.

Ah...Snaps....You turned me on to those way back on Monroe. I remember well the patch along the house. And how sweet they were in a little vase. I hope to be able to get some this spring....Perhaps at the Trufant flea market!

Oh- I wish I could be there to see it myself. Your "things" are wonderful! Did the storm hit you? It started here about 3pm and so far we have about 6" of snow and it is still snowing hard...UGH! Feels more like January than March...welcome to Wisconsin~ xo Diana

Do you make the round crate ends? LOVE THEM!!!
And I don't know where your part of the midwest is, but ours is still looking like the God forsaken frozen tundra that it is. I haven't thought about snap dragons, just snow melt.

I am the wrong person to ask about urns as I am due for an urn intervention. The snapdragons are delightful Joy.
