now when it comes to shuffling my house stuff around I'm fine,
but major change leaves me rattled.
thru the grapevine and now on their website
it states that
PICNIK
is closing
shutting down
leaving the building
and leaving all of their DAILY users
stranded.
oh yes they refunded our money
BUT
it is the quickest, most creative editing
I've seen in a long while.
So this Valentine's Day
I'm sad
I mean really sad
will they replace it with something better?
more expensive?
UNTIL they do, did you know you can use it all for
FREE?

I've never used picnik but I was just about to sign up after seeing all the wonderful tools it had. So I'm a bit bummed myself that I didn't get a chance to try it. I do hope they are just re-grouping and will make a comeback. (Crosses fingers)
I'm with Alice above i never got to use it...i only heard about it after everyone started posting about it's closing,hope something similar pops up soon.

I used it minimally...still learning with the whole photos/computer thing. I'd like to know what the next best option will be...what will folks use now?
Have you tried Photobucket? It's pretty good too.

Happy Valentine's Day, Joy! I suppose I can't miss something I didn't use. My Windows Live Gallery has some nice editing features, and so does Photobucket. There's always an alternative. Chin up, friend!
One of those things on my list to do! I will have to try Photobucket!

Yes I was all into Picnik. I am now using Photoscape which is free and I like it. Took a while for me to adjust but after lots of moaning I am getting the hang of it. BeFunky is good too.
I am so in denial about picnik...google connect too...oh, google what are you doing? Some of us like things just the way they are, thank you very much.
I don't know what I am going to switch to...reading here for options.

I've used Paint Shop//corel art proggie for 7 years so I never knew about picnik.. so sorry for all those who are loosing it though.
Not sure what to suggest as an alternative cause psp is not cheap and takes a while to learn to use.

I'm not sure what Google, who now owns picnic is thinking. They are also doing away with google friend connect for blogs who aren't on blogger. Not creating a lot of good will. I have yet to sit down and try out some of the other photo editing services, but my daughter sent me a list and I know I have to do it.

I did indeed Picnik and it was awesome. I am SOOOOOO bummed about it's demise. Seems silly that something so good is shutting down. :-( Not a happy camper, nosirree.
