MAIL EARLY ... FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS

I figured rather than lick a stamp and mail each of you a Christmas card
I would give blogger the job of delivering
the mail.

Due to schedules, budgets, and not being
able to always get a family picture,
we have not sent Christmas cards for the
past several years.

When we all gather
it doesn't always work out for us to take a family picture: much to my dismay.
either someone is missing from the 'party'
or
we get lazy
or a grandbaby goes to bed
or
we cant find the tripod clip
or
there's no one outside of the family to hand the Canon to
or
or
or

IN THIS CASE
from across the miles
from our house to yours
and all of the
wonderful sentiments
Hallmark
can offer
I give to you
the family ...
as we celebrated Sofia's
number ONE birthday  last weekend.
All present and accounted for.

Merry Christmas
from our house to yours

MAIL EARLY!

are you doing christmas cards this year?

What a gorgeous birthday girl and a beautiful family! The picture turned out wonderfully! So difficult to get that many people to cooperate at one time. We usually have pics like the second one - somebod's squirming, ofussing, not looking at the camera, etc. Still, even that one is great! I haven't sent cards out for three years now and I really miss doing so. Time just gets away from me with trying to decorate and prepare the "perfect" Christmas for my family. This year, I'm going to take it back a step or two so I'm noto too exhausted to enjoy it! Have a beautiful and blessed holiday season with your wonderful family! Hugs and Merry Christmas, Leena

You have a beautiful family. What a blessing. And to answer the question do we send out Christmas cards.....No.I stopped doing that about three years ago.I started sending them out later and later because of lack of time or laziness. So now I just don't bother.I usually see all the people I sent cards to anyway so I thought whats the point.I can wish them a Merry Christmas holiday in person :-)

Beautiful pic...and so much fun when you actually know the other bloggers in the pics! LOL

And yes, we are doing Christmas cards this year...I'm so mad at myself for not getting them out last year...I let pride get in the way of being content with the "best" pic I could get of a 6, 4, and 4-month old! I did cards, but didn't like how they turned out and so never mailed them. My mother was beyond annoyed with me!

Won't do that again!!!

Blessings from Kansas,

Valerie

What a beautiful Photo of the family! No Christmas Cards this year, except for the Grandparents I think. I sometimes send a few friends some handmade cards, but that's about it!
What a treasure your family is! Just love the Photo ~ xo

To answer your question, yes- I still do Christmas cards. Sadly, it is the only contact we have with some of our old friends....I mean LONG TIME friends...not that they are old...okay...well, they ARE old, too! xo Diana
